Kilimanjaro in Loitokitok, Billy has been telling powerful visual stories for nearly a decade. His passion lies in capturing the heart of social and health issues, with a deeper focus on environmental conservation and marginalized communities.
With extensive experience across different fields of photography, Billy has worked with prominent organizations such as WHO, the Netherlands Embassy, Goodwell Investments, NOOR Images, Africa Health Population Research Centre, NHIF, Ethnovision, and VSO. He is also part of the Elite Team of Red Bull Global Sports Photographers and is a certified Red Bull Sports Photographer.
In 2022, Billy won the prestigious Water=Life Global Photography competition, and his most recent award-winning documentary, The Braves of Naningoi, highlights the struggle of young Maasai girls fighting for their rights to education.
